A framed landscape oil painting signed by Paul Lauritz (1889-1975). Tones are soft pastels with some earthy greens.
Lauritz, originally from Norway, traveled through Alaska, then settled in Los Angeles. He was President of the California Art Club from 1942-1944.
Condition: Paint is flaking on one section (lavender paint) in the lower right corner, and there is a 1/2" horizontal tear on the far right side of the canvas. Dark-stained frame is vintage and has light blemishes.
Overall framed dimensions: 26" W x 20" H x 2-1/4" D
